Mindaribba Local Aboriginal Land Council Foyer & Office Murals
Mindaribba LALC Office Murals
Creating these mural for Mindaribba LALC was incredibly meaningful for me and my family. Minda has been such an important part of our lives – not just as a cultural connection, but as a safe and grounding space that has supported our growth and connection to community.
These artworks reflects many different meeting places and the pathways that connect us, symbolising the strength and relationships within the Mindaribba community. The people symbols represent the staff and members who make this space so special. At its core, this mural is about belonging - to place, to each other, and to something greater.
The stars woven throughout represent our ancestors, always watching over us and protecting us. Their presence reminds us of the cultural strength and resilience passed down through generations.
