Hunter Water x UP&UP x Dhiiyaan Art Mural
Creating this mural was really special for me. I wanted it to feel connected to the land, like it belongs there. Through my art, I’m always trying to tell stories that reflect how we care for Country—and how Country looks after us too.
The shapes and symbols in the mural represent people, movement, and nature. I used earthy tones and flowing lines to show how everything’s connected—our communities, the water, the land. It’s all part of one big story.
Working alongside Faith and Shane from Up&Up and Hunter Water was a great experience. It wasn’t just about making something that looks good—it was about bringing community and culture together. I hope when people walk past it, they pause for a second and feel that connection. Maybe it reminds them to slow down, to take care of the spaces we live in, and to really appreciate the stories that live in the land
